Downstream injector puzzle

Hi there, new to the buisness here. Just invested in setup.
-CAT PUMP 3.2 GPM

  • kholer 9.5hp
  • 300 feet of 3/8 hose
  • Downstream injector 1:10
  • I have a bunch of nuzzle ( different size )
    .
    My problem is that my injector don’t pull any product. I tried many things.
  • super low pressure, high pressure and mid pressure
  • Low GPM , mid GPM and full 3.2GPM
  • Different nozzle ( the black one to the foam canon to just no nuzzles)

One thing that worked is , just using and standard length hose ( 25 feat ) with a black nuzzle and it worked.

The prob seems to comme from my 300ft for 3/8 hose.

From there im lost and my knowledge on how to troubleshoot that is out .

What size injector are you using? Even with a 1.8mm, You’ll be hard pressed to get any draw past 200 feet with a 3.2 GPM pump.

Ok hold up. You mentioned ‘full 3.2gpm’, are you trying to throttle the engine? Never do that, leave it on full and adjust with nozzles.

Got a pic of your setup? Where are you located? Why are you using 300’ of pressure hose, I use 150’ with my 8gpm and 90% of the time that’s plenty.

Be sure the injector is facing the correct way, GP injectors have an arrow.

Im in Canada, no pictures right now, but 300feet because i do big houses , buildings etc etc so i said to myself " i aint gonna move nothing" . The arrow in facing the right way , but yeah i just tried everything, I’ve thrown everything at the wall lets say. :sweat_smile:

I think the problem is the 300 feet… i’ll just buy a xjet I think.

Tried many, even smaller one… i think i went a bit overboard with the 300 feet with the 3.2 GPM setup

I didn’t like using more than 150 for of hose on my 3.5gpm, and I only went up to 250 ft when I was just using water to pressure wash docks over water- no chemicals.

I’m not sure where to start. What kind of insurance do you have?
