It is when you also have to spend $20 for replacement pads and the just as good if not better alternative only costs $20 total. And the question for me isn’t “can I afford cougar paws or not?” $200 is not a big deal, except for me it would be just like throwing it in the trash. I’d rather take that and take my wife out to a nice dinner.
I will say that they aren’t great on metal roofs. The SteelWalker from cougar paws is probably a good bet if/when you run into a situation when you have to be on metal.
Also, it’s $20 bucks. Order some from Walmart and try them out. What do you have to lose? Robot or human?
Are their shoe sizes pretty comparable to most?
I don’t need to. I already have the cougar paws and I don’t even use them that much unless the pitch is 9:12 or more. Under that, you can use just about anything including crocks if you want to.
They are pretty close to Nike’s in sizing
I’d walk that roof in crocs
We could call the video…“Epic fail in crocs” ;>)
Hahaha, I bet you would - go for it. Record it and post the video.
The trick is you got to drop em down in 4 low and you can go anywhere.
