Do you schedule residential washes on a Sunday?

Sunday to me is the Lords day, and Im blessed that I’ve never had the need to work then. Money isn’t everything and although I don’t have a wife/kids I think a day off even if it means losing some jobs is a valuable discipline. Its easy to get wrapped up on work and it wears you down more than just physically. A lot of our customers have that same idea too so I wouldn’t feel comfortable trampling around their house while they try to relax.

Does this stand for Commercial work as well?

For me it does. Life is not always about gaining more, sometimes it’s about stepping off of the merry-go-round and enjoying what you’ve been blessed with.

I try my best to do that every Sunday.

Your a good man Tim. We probably go out on at least 12 Sunday’s a yr to do commercial work. In most of those cases early night work because the stores close earlier.

The other thing is Sunday’s to me were almost non existent. They were like any other day because of my old job work schedule which was 2 days on & 3 days off. The worst day for me to work was Christmas on my old job. Luckily my last 7 yrs I was the senior officer so I didn’t have to work that day if my schedule fell where I was scheduled to be in. I did split some of those tours though with some of the new guys who became new fathers. Also because I came in at 7pm all the time it wasn’t to hard to say good night to my own family at that point.

I am glad I retired though.
