I was under the impression that direct drive pumps were not very effective at drawing water. This direct drive is drawing water about 2ft vertically …unless this is a gear drive and I am not recognizing it as such.
Also, I am not suggesting that it is drawing a sufficient volume of water…I am just surprised that is is drawing any water.
