Diesel truck concrete stains

Before I throw my usual degreasers at this, any special advice besides ‘use hot water’?

This is my neighbor’s driveway, she’s moving and asked if I can get it looking better for the sale

Since it’s your neighbor, first thing I’d do is grind some floor dry into there and leave it for a day (assuming it won’t rain). I’ve only had luck with oil stains if I do that first. Past that and degreaser like you said, I don’t know…. Anything you do will make it better though

How long has it been there? I’d be curious to see if that overnight oil eater stuff would work on this.

ouch for them, looks like exposed aggregate on that drive. You’ve done this for awhile, just cause it is a neighbor and you might be friendly doesn’t change the setting of expectations….lessen, not remove. Not saying you didn’t tell them this, just for new readers/members.

For new people reading this, dry material (often times made of clay) crushed into the concrete will sometimes help lift the stuff out of the porous material (concrete is porous). Sometimes.
