Well how else are we going to learn chemistry unless someone shows up out of nowhere and uses the word “perhaps”

I was wondering what the link was. I decided not to click on it. I wasn’t sure what his angle was.

Ya’ll still wanna have a degreaser war with a rubber scrubber ?? I think you’d lose. 4 minute dwell , soft wash removal. That was my test at 8:1, gonna try DS straight and see what happens. That building is 10 years old and has had stain overspray on it all 10, and heavy algae growth to boot, SH wouldn’t touch it at a 15 minute dwell at 6%

Why is there so much stain overspray on that building? Dang that’s going to look good

You know those portable sheds and barns they build @AAPressurewashing00 ? This place used to build them and all the staining was done outside, So all the overspray would hit that front side and the front of the office. Should be a great before and after, Thats actually my shop now about 2 10th of a mile from my farm. And with the housing boom the owner is putting it on the market, I hope it never sells , I love my shop. I should of bought it at 90k 2 years ago, now he wants 195k for it with 7 acres.

Tell him 80k take it or leave it and I wouldn’t finish cleaning it if you dont want it to sell :joy: I do believe I’ve seen some realtors mentioned that the real estate market is starting to slow down some. Still really good for selling but coming down so you may get lucky and get that price down some if you ended up really wanting to keep it

Thought i add to this thread, but was wondering if this degreaser is anything worth looking at? It does have sodium hydroxide in it, but not to sure about the other chemicals or if they’re harmful to concrete or not. Hees the SDS

You don’t have to worry about a degreaser harming concrete. Acid is what you have to be careful with on concrete. Acid will remove rust but etches the concrete in the process. Sodium Hydroxide is in many degreasers and works great on grease. You just have to be careful with any aluminum or painted trim nearby. That’s usually only an issue on commercial locations. If you want the best degreaser out there order some HCS400. You can spray it on that thick black grease you see outside of restaurant’s doors and rinse it away with a garden hose. No kidding either.
