Decks and glass on commercial building

I’m preparing to bid on a large commercial job including pavement, glass, decks, and full exterior soft washing on a commercial building. Here is a photo:

All sides of the building are the same more or less.

I do not have more than a couple days of experience using a lift, and even if I did we can only access about 50% of the building if we did rent one.

We do 90% residential work, and use water fed poles almost always.

My questions:

How do I clean behind the metal bars covering the glass? Do I have to squeegee everything?

Is it possible to do this job without a lift?

All responses greatly appreciated

I have never and would never clean windows so I can’t help you there but I would strongly encourage you to take an operators safety course for any machinery that you anticipate using during the course of your business. It will pay dividends on time saved on the job and accidents avoided. Plus, they’re pretty fun if you have a good instructor. You can call some local equipment suppliers and ask them if they know anyone locally that certifies operators and they’ll point you in the right direction. Looks like a heck of a project. Good luck with it :+1:

Get access to the building and pull your hoses up to the higher decks.
