Customer info and booking program?

Looking to find a program that can be used on computer/Iphone IOS. 99% of my booking take place on phone calls during a work day while im physically not able to be near a computer and put in all info. Are there any iphone apps that will allow me to type in all customer info (address, price, work to be completed, phone number etc) and will also be linked to an account of something of that sort i can access on my computer? What do you guys use to keep track of your customer?

I’m the same way. I use the customer factor. I tried a couple of others and they just didn’t work as good for me.

House call pro is nice if you like apple products. It a very user friendly app as well as computer layout. But it is not as in depth and customizable as other ones. I really like it though.

I too love HCP, but there’s an active thread about Markate you might wish to look for. ALSO, I encourage you to look for an app that will automatically grab that info from your website and automatically place it into your CRM. Maybe even find a way to text a prospect a form that once filled out and returned will automatically populate your CRM. HMMM, I need to work on that one myself.

I use the customer factor

Responsibid does that with Jobber

Customer factor does that. It can be synced to your website

I don’t know if i would want that. My crm would be filled with price shoppers and people who I might not want as a client. I would have to constantly go in and delete people.

Not really. It puts them as a prospect to get an estimate to. They’re not put in as a customer until you convert them to a customer. I’ve done jobs for people that initially went with someone else but that person didn’t follow up and I did. I’ll gladly have a crm full of prospects to call on a down day to try and stir up sales

So I’m taking a hard look at Markate, and this thing has more layers than anything I’ve seen. I’m still not quite ready to leap (get iot, @squidskc) yet, but I AM impressed. They don’t integrate with Zapier, however. They DO allow you to keep up with expenses, and even scan reciepts right in the app. They ask for reviews for only $5 per month. I’m paying Broadly $200. Broadly’s swervice is actually more in depth, but that ain’t worth $195.

Bingo. Same here. After a little bit of time with Markate I’m prepared to jump ship. I’m paying $400 a month for softwares that I think are worth it, but the basic need out of it isn’t that complicated.

Well, you got me into HCP, we might as well jump ship together. I will need the 14 days of the free trial to devote to adapting and relearning, and the I have to teach the new software to my employees. Not crazy about that, but I certainly WILL save some much needed money. NOW, if I could just get Mr. Pipeline, Google, and HomeAdvisor to drop THEIR prices, …

How does it work with transferring all info you have from one to the other?

HCP gives you all your info in an Excel spreadsheet, and it integrates just fine with Markate, or any OTHER CRM.

Obviously if you’ve noticed my comments on this thread, I am a big fan of Markate. But, another thing to keep in mind is that over the last several months that I have been with them they have made several improvements and seem to be continuing that trend. There is constantly something on their facebook page about upgrades or added features and if you want something added just post it and they will consider it. I asked about the mass email feature and it was added. Not that I was the reason or only person that liked the idea, but point being they listen to their customers. The new postcard marketing they just updated looks great as well but I haven’t had time to sit down and actually send one out. I did use the mass email feature and its was pretty neat. It inserts the customers name into each email so it looks like a personal email rather than a mass email. Anyway, glad to know some of you other guys are enjoying the benefits of it. Can’t beat it for the price and features in my humble opinion.

@Patriotspwashing @squidskc any issue or bug markate has they seem to fix it immediately. They have a facebook page yal should look at on facebook, they are active on it everyday and any time I see someone with an issue they fix it. Ive also seen them add things that werent issues, just random things customers say they wish it had. Its well worth the 25 bucks compared to the 123 i was spending
