Crazy question

Just your opinion on this. Just sitting here over thinking. Lol. If i am drawing say a 3% mix from my tank with an x jet, and want less % for pre treat , and shut the ball valve going to the tank half way off, would you think that cuts the chem draw by 50% reducing the mix to 1.5%, half of 3%???

No way to know except test it. Should take you about 5 min and then you’ll know and can let us know.

@Steve512 the answer is “yes” you talk too much… but don’t worry so much…

@Steve512 I’m just ribbing you. You’re a good guy. There’s plenty of room for water-cooler banter around here. The beauty of the ball valve is you can adjust it on the fly. So if shutting it halfway off doesn’t do the trick, adjust it a little more until you find the sweet spot you’re looking for. If you’re referring to the 1/4 inch poly ball valve from PressureTek, it seems to have a pretty linear response based on my experience; so halfway off seems to be half as hot of a mix.

Its the plastic 3/8 ball valve standard with most X jets. Thanks bro.

I will. Got a great driveway this Thursday for your before / after pic. Parts of it are so black I had to check to see if it was not black spray paint.

Don’t worry about pretreat, post treating is where it’s at from my nasty driveway experience.
