Cougar Paws for metal roofs

I have a few metal roofs coming up and I’m wondering if I should invest in the magnetic cougar paws. One is Single Story and not very steep. The other is like three stories high and too steep to walk. I’ll either wash from the roof line or harness up and get it from the peak(only doing one side).

Has anyone used the magnetic boots? Is it a significant improvement?

I would determine first if the metal is ferrous.

That’s a great point.

Im curious about this too. I seen them replying to one of your previous post. The thing is they will lose strength fast if your walking alot in them. If i remember right the electrons in a magnet are all in a line and cause it to push and repel. I would think walking around on a hard surface would soon knock them out of alignment and lose strength.

I could also be full of crap. :joy::joy::joy:

I’ve never used magnetic boots . I can tell you even cougar pays will be slippery on that roof once it gets wet. I also see no reason you would need to get on that roof to clean it .

Thanks for the input. I’ll just have to schedule it on a good day with no/low wind.
