Cordless leaf blowers

Used search bar and didnt find anything at all oddly enough. But who uses cordless leaf blowers? What do you run? And what would you suggest knowing what you know now…

Most of the guys recommend them from what I’ve read.

Knowing what I’ve always known is to use a gas leaf blower. Reason why is because i always have gas onboard.

I have the stihl br-450 backpack blower for ground work. In my area leaves,small sticks like to gather on rooftops. Looking for something light weight to take up on roof to blow them off prior to washing. That back pack is a bit much going up ladders and on roofs…

If you have to go cordless I would hands down pick Milwaukee for for quality and warranty. Best cordless tools on the market.

I’ve used their drills/impacts those are top notch. Didnt know bout the blowers.

They do a brushless blower in the M18 range. Less than 6 pounds

I have a Stihl BG 86 too and, like any Stihl product, it never fails to start and run. It’s pretty light too. I have a handful of different gas blowers over the years and it’s by far the best. I’m kind of partial to Stihl though considering I have like 10 of their chainsaws…lol

Cordless=gas in my mind

If using for our industry, get a stihl BG50. Cheap great power and cant beat it.

If for home use and want a backpack, Stihl BR 200. Very lightweight and good power.

If using for the garage, patio, driveway or quick light work… get a Ryobi 18v if you dont have a cordless battery operated brand that offers a blower.

Indeed. I’ve had stihl’s for years, never had a need to try anything else. They seem to run better the older they get lol.

I like Stihl too… and there are a handful of pieces missing from this pic. This was for a field workday with a bunch of teenager boys a few months back… cant have them destroying with my good stuff.

I’ve got a Ryobi blower, got it because they have 9Ah batteries. Works perfectly well for my purposes, which is blowing debris around and also blowing away excess sand when I resand pavers.

BG 55’s were the best. Now a buy 5 or 6 of these a year. They run pretty decent and are cheap.

$139 new

@Innocentbystander why so many

I get at-least 30% off new stuff, Almost 50% off the stuff pulled off the factory line. Hard not to like Stihl when they are the best and cheaper.

They only last about a year. Drop them once off a roof and the plastic shatters, trigger breaks, kinda cheaply, can’t screw out the spark arrest. I’m happy if the guys get a year out of them.
