I scanned through the posts on their business page, and found evidence that they also provide window cleaning and at least some pressure washing (decks, anyway).

I’m thinking more seriously about giving them a friendly call, now…

They just got around to registering their trade name less than a month ago. Hopefully they aren’t too attached to it :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Keep us posted. I’d be interested in knowing what can be done, legally. If they don’t agree I don’t see much that you can do about it without lengthy court procedures but I’m not well versed in trademark law. I’m definitely curious though. I feel where you’re coming from.

Welcome to the dark side my friend.

I messaged the owner. They named the company after their daughter, Affinity. (People these days, naming their kids :joy:)

They don’t seem worried about possible confusion. Oh, well. If I start getting calls for landscaping or house cleaning, I’ll be a gentleman and clarify the name issue :man_shrugging:

Forget it, refer them some business. You have any idea how many Pro Cleans there are. You could have spent that time you did worrying about this working on numbers for your build you where going to give us, lol.

Hahahahha

That’s what we’re talkin about…differentiation. You gotta set yourself, not only apart, but above others. Only real competition is ourselves.
