Anyone have time to explain how a driveway becomes permanently marked by a water hose during the curing process. I have tried to explain this to a POA once and a homeowner today. Both looked at me like a mule looking at a new gate. I didn’t take any pics. My concrete guy from my spec building days told me what it was called but I forget.
I believe it’s curing differential. You will end up with different levels of moisture on the concrete’s surface in the first few days or weeks after the pour. Items left on surface will compound the problem
