Composite Deck

You can try and blend it some but it will probably still be somewhat noticeable. I had some guy take a red tip to his and put squiggly lines all over it. I made it look quite a bit better but you could kind of see the lines. I’ll walk before trying to fix something like that again just because I wasn’t happy with the results. I would tell him to flip the boards over if possible and then you can come back and clean with SH.

One of the wood and deck wizards use a wire brush to smooth out wand marks, it should work. I’ve feathered them out myself.

Were you able to remove the crop circles? Have a customer use a ryobi surface cleaner on his trek deck, older model trek. Any technique to blend? Already doing house wash here, wanted to add this service into the price.

You’re just going to aggravate yourself trying to fix someone else mistake. Then it becomes your problem. If it was a 10min fix, it’d be one thing, but you could spend hours on this one.

I used a surface cleaner with hot water on a trex deck once (a few years ago before I knew about softwashing). I tested my surface cleaner on a small area first and it looked great! So I did the whole thing. Then it dried. Tons of tiny white dots where the color came out. DONT use a surface cleaner. For that matter, always wait for things to dry when doing test spots on anything it seems it isn’t until things dry the true result is shown. Especially true for wood. Wet wood decks after cleaning have beautiful color then when they dry don’t look so good sometimes.
