Comet P40 Oscillating Pressure

Gas powered.
Proportioner.
Been using for 3 seasons.

Pressure is fine after startup.
Turn on soap, pressure drops, pulsates.
Turn off soap, pressure sometimes returns, sometimes keeps pulsating, about every 3 sec intervals.
Turning unloader on/off with gun on sometimes resolves.
AG hose is vibrating so I think there is air in the line. Not sure where air is getting in.

Been dealing with issue from the end of last year.

Any thoughts @Racer @TexasPressureWashing @Firefighter4hire

I think you guys have experience with these units.

I think you answered your own question.

True, so how do I get the air out, lol? Simply running it through a whole house wash doesn’t resolve it.

sounds like your check valve is sticking. clean the soap valve assembly with warm water. and re assemble

Ty, I’ll do that. Probably wouldn’t hurt to do the bleach valve as well.

Air is probably getting introduced into the system somewhere on that line, take apart and reassemble.

If the check valve cleaning doesn’t do it, easy enough to just prime one line at a time to narrow it down, which it seems you already know where your problem is. Good luck

In addition to the check valves, I’d also check for any loose hose clamps, cracked filter housing and input lines that may be getting worn on the bottom where it lays on floor. If you are using rubber hose for input, check to make sure the inner layer hasn’t collapsed causing restriction. Long time chemical exposure can soften that interior lining.

Hello I’m reaching out because I was told you offered help with google ads or published a PowerPoint a while back

I’m really confused about early 40 reading hours on the topic and trying to set them up

I’ve been really successful at Facebook ads but google ads is kicking my tail

Which campaign type do I set up with? Is it search? Or dynamic, performance max, etc
