Colored/stained Concrete

Hey guys, I have been doing driveways and sidewalks recently with great results ( I will attach some pictures of my previous work).

I have a job coming up at a million dollar home where we are basically cleaning the driveways, concrete around the pool, sidewalks, and curbs. The homeowner is wanting it all cleaned so the home can be put on the market. The driveway, and concrete around the pool is colored/stained a very light red color to match the house. I will attach an aerial shot of this house as well.

Basically, is there anything I should watch out for? Anything I should not do? or any issues you’ve seen in the past?

From what the owner said, the concrete was stained when it was poured, I’m guessing like a dye was put in the mix, but then he went over the surface with a layer of stain/coloring himself a few years ago. He said he is wanting to re-stain/re-color it again after we clean it.

The homeowner also asked if we would be interested in re-staining/re-coloring it for him but I have yet to do something like that and have no idea how to price it or anything.

Any and all advice would be great! Thanks guys!

P.S. @Racer from what i gather you were in the race scene a while back and you may actually know this homeowner. His name is Danny Culler, he was spotter for Dale Earnhardt Sr and was actually the last person to talk to Earnhardt before he passed. Just thought that was a cool back story to share

@squidskc Have you had any experience cleaning colored concrete?

Yeah. It cleans just like regular concrete. Our surface cleaners are set up so they’re never above 2500 psi.

Subcontract the staining to a company who does it with great reviews and take a percentage.

Awesome thanks!
My surface cleaner came with 2502 nozzles which are 4,000 PSI, I just ordered some 25025 nozzles this week which should cut it down to 2200-2500 PSI. Do you run 15* or 25* nozzles on your surface cleaner?

And thanks, just found a guy who has like 28 5 star reviews nearby that I will reach out to.

I’m fairly certain they’re 25 degree, but I’ll have to check that invoice from Ptek.

Just ordered new nozzles from Pressure Tek a couple weeks ago & Bob recommended the 25 degree to me for a surface cleaner.

There are plenty threads to remove rust but do any of the recommended chemicals do damage to stained concrete?

Honestly don’t know. Only thing I used was SH and Elemonator on that driveway. It turned out great!
