Cleaning textured concrete

Not the best pictures but hopefully they will work I’m Not sure if textured concrete is the correct definition but it’s not smooth. It’s an old house they have the same type of concrete for the front stairs and walkway and a small patio in the back. I was just wondering if this type of concrete will still clean up nicely or if the texture will give me problems. I haven’t cleaned this type before.

Bleach and a surface cleaner will take care of it

Thanks for the reply, that’s what I planned on doing for the patio and walk way. I was thinking of SH and turbo nozzle for stairs

No turbo on stairs, just a fan tip about 2000psi. SH about 2% post treat after surface cleaning.

I use a turbo for all kinds of stuff, especially stairs. 54 stair treads per breezeway and we do about 18 a day. That’s a lot of stair treads

forget treads…that’s about what, 60 floors of climbing? lol

I was just thinking more of the gritty textured concrete he has, turbo would blast the surface right off, similar to coarse grit sandpaper. I guess he can hold it further away.

I climb a lot of stairs for sure

We just did 56 stairwells and upper landing decks. Two very long painful days: I tried white tip first for one then tried turbo nozzle. Turbo was much faster. I do not enjoy doing stairs like that it’s hard on your body. I wanted to save the money so I did not use heat however on the second day we only had an hour of daylight left and had 7 left. I decided to try and speed up the process by turning the heat on high. That significantly it sped up. Next time I’m going to use heat for sure. Felt like sh would of been a waste of time and money because we still had to Blast all the crap off. I ended up getting sick after that job. Probably from getting hit in the face with no mask on by all the nasty stuff on stairs. Spit, maybe piss, crap from everyone’s shoes and who knows what.

We walk up the steps backwards with a 18 in wand and turbo. Set of steps takes about 30 seconds to a minute. Walking backwards you don’t get wet. Definitely soap them along with the walls before you turbo them
