Cleaning painted cement and other surfaces

Hey, Guys

Blue here , I just got a job where the customer wants me to do there sidewalk and the facade which looks like cement, I’m gonna get pictures , what should I use to clean the facade that’s painted cement is what it looks like. I want the paint to look bright without taking it off the facade. The facade is also mostly glass a small portion is what looks to be cement it could even be stucco. Not sure , is mostly glass as they have big windows , there’s also some light to dark graffiti on the lil cement/stucco there is I’m going to use elephant snot for that. I’m thinking of charging 150 for everything is that to much I can give measurement and pics , I think it’s fair it’s maybe an hour, hour and a half worth of work just starting out or is that too much
For sidewalk
I’m going to wet the surface first, than a SH and surfactant mixture (small amounts) and a lil some to make it’s smell good , pressure wash it with surface cleaner , and prolly put a lil neutralizer just in case don’t need much . I’m applying via pu’mp sprayer for any chemicals/mixes. Then rinse off is there any post treatment I can offer for cement ? I

For painted cement/stucco
( looks like really good roller brush paint job)
Wet it first , then use surfactant and light Clorox mix ? Or peroxide based cleaner , I was also thinking citrus tough or clean Sol bc any advice or suggestions?

The job is next Tuesday so I have some time and have any idea what to use already cause I’m adding a service for it to smell good

Best Regards
Blue

For painted concrete, I always set the expectation that I can’t judge the paint’s quality, so there may be some loss of paint/flaking during the cleaning. I generally will pre-treat with 3% and rinse with low pressure maybe even just ball valve it. Depends on the surface and what condition the paint is in.

As long as you communicate ahead of time you should be good.

Thank you, I appreciate the help, the surface is pretty much clean just a lil dark from weather/ wear and tear. I shouldn’t need much to get it shined white again lol , surfactant Clorox and some to make side walk smell nice should be enough for sidewalk ?

Should be. For most concrete I shoot for 3% SH - sometimes stubborn stuff needs more.

So if you’re starting with 6% SH mix it 50/50 with water and toss in some surfactant. I like Snotmenade but the dollar store laundry soap works fine too. If your’e using a higher SH percentage just adjust.

Make sure you pre-wet grass on both sides of the concrete and hit it again when you’re done. Easy money.

thanks brother I appreciate you advice there’s not much grass where im from but good to know. I live in the city (Brooklyn to be exact) . im going to start doing houses in queens hopefully so there’s more vegetation there .

Im buying chemicals right now , my list is as follows

  • cleansol BC
  • Britenol HD
  • Onerestore
(above are all ecochem I see people getting great results with above 3)
-F9 (sample pack) just to see what this product is about and if I will have use for it , seen pretty good reviews
  • degreaser - thinking red raider or gold assassin
  • surfactant im not sure I just want best bang for buck with quality
  • Citrus tough

all ears on any suggestions
