New video. Will have a few more over next week or so. Hope they help
Those before and afters!
This might be a silly question, but did you try hitting it with a hotter mix to speed things up? or was there a specific reason why you kept it at 4-5%?
When I got to the end of that video I was like wow…
That’s some serious build up… Must have been a tough one, but very done…
Thanks for the info mate as always, very helpful…
Man you need to turn image stabilization on that gopro!
So how many gallons of SH did you go through?
Good stuff, thanks for the info……
Right at 150 gallons
Well I have a chest mounted harness that moves a lot less, but hands and equipment block the view 1/2 the time. So the only way I’ve found to mount is on the bill of my hat and I’m always bouncing around. WTH Brock, I’m not a professional movie guy, lol. Pay attention to the content, not the production.
Well I was shooting real hot sauce, better than 15% so .5 is like 7% or better. Plus parts didn’t need even that much. But from experience, sometimes you have to hit with straight 2-3 times, so the .5 was a good in between. Kind of like when you’re doing a roof with a few really bad places. You don’t shoot the whole roof with 6%, you use 3.5 or 4% and hit the really bad places an extra time or 2.
Huge difference - you cleaned that place up well! Thanks for sharing. When was this - winter time?
Early February
Thank you for that clip - I recently looked at a similar job, but based on the amount of chem, I think I’ll pass.
The building in your video came out great, that had to be a LOT of work though!
I’ve watched all your you tube vids. Learned a lot. Thank you for your content!
More chem = more revenue…unless it’s just beyond your current equipment, then good choice
Why would the amount of chem bother you ?
Think of it as fuel . The more fuel you have the further you can go . Imagine if a truck driver didn’t want much diesel . It’s the same thing you both have to stop when you run out . Why limit yourself ?
It’s a time based request - they need it done very soon. I just finished a 2,800 SF roof job which took about 150 gals of SH and now have a leak somewhere so having issues between pump, Proportioner and tank(s) that I need to troubleshoot on my new build so may do some redesigning to get things better.
There will be others…
Yeah Proportioner issues with my new build.
Huh?..
Sorry for the confusion - my new Proportioner is acting up (everything is tight, but air is getting in somewhere - I suspect one of the valves may be leaking or cracked) and it will take me a bit to troubleshoot because I have work stacked up so will pass on the fluted concrete job for now.
