Cleaning efflorescence

Hey there,
I’ve recently started a pressure washing business and have received an inquiry about leached mortar/efflorescence on black brick. I’ve read that hydrochloric acid can clean the brick but the brick for this job is black coated/glazed.

Does anyone know if acid would lighten, discolour or damage the colour of the brick?

F9 Efflo is like 30% hydrochloric acid and they specifically say not to use it on glazed surfaces.

Pass on that, that’s next level stuff, possibly media/dry ice blasting
