Cleaning Aluminum Siding Vs. Aluminum Soffets?

Hello everyone. My account history will say I have no history here but I have been reading for about 2 months on learning the process of soft washing. I have been looking through the forums and I can’t seem to find an answer to this question. I think any veteran here could answer. If the word “aluminum” is typed here it’s pretty unanimous that everyone says they will walk away from a job with aluminum siding because there’s too much of a chance for stripping the paint off. Does this same philosophy not apply to aluminum soffets/fascia? I guess i’m just a little confused because literally everyone on here says they always clean the gutters and fascia while doing a house wash, but they are very often made of aluminum? I have a first practice wash coming up here in a few weeks as I acquire enough equipment, and I want to make sure I know what i’m talking about when it comes to soft washing aluminum in general. Thank you.

The color is not going come off aluminum soffets like it can with old oxidized aluminum siding. At least not in my experience. Most soffets aren’t aluminum anyway.

I think part of it is that your soffits are shaded most of the time.Just from installing soffit and fascia, they seem to have a better coating than the old aluminum siding did. And all of the soffit and fascia around here are aluminum or steel. Zero issues.
