Cleaning a steep, 2-story roof question

I’m only nervous if I actually have to get on the roof. I’m wondering if I could just spray and stay on the ladder. I have a 26’ extension ladder but maybe I need to rent one of those 32’

No problem.

Be sure to bring enough SH for this job, 40 to 60 gallons, and fuel.

Dont work in the dark, not professional, unless you’re literally almost done and your just rinsing off the driveway.

Be sure to do the inch front lip of the roof tile.

Because it’s slate it could be done from a ladder. As long as you can reach to peak with your sprayer. If you plan on being a roof cleaner this would be a good one to start learning how to walk a tile roof. Eventually your going to run into barrel tile that can’t be sprayed from a ladder. And 10 times harder to walk.

Get a helper and a long rope. Drag your surface cleaner back and forth across the roof. Be sure to pre soak with water balloons with a 50/50 bleach mix

Surface cleaner on a roof? I’m going to assume you have way more experience than me but I’ve always been told high pressure on a roof is a terrible idea, regardless of what the roof is made of.

@Innocentbystander is still a rookie. Dont listen to him. Water balloons take allot of time to master. DoubleH and Florida already gave your answer. Walk it if you’re confident and safe other wise just stay on your ladder. You will use less mix if you walk it. Get you one of these tips from home depot or lowes. 7303878_aeps_high
You can reach out 25 to 30 foot with it. If you have a ball valve on your 12volt setup you can turn it off let it build pressure and turn it back on quickly and get a good burst to reach even farther.

Can he use 50 balloons with just water followed by 50 balloons of bleach? Will it mix properly like that?

Yes, but you have to alternate throwing them

Just use a water softener filter so the water isn’t hard then it hits the roof and you’ll be fine.
