Church Steeple

Went out and looked at the steeple at my moms church. First thought is walk away, but trying to help them out i thought id throw it out there for any advice?

Do it. If it’s too high. Rent a lift hit it with 2% easy day…probably.

^ that, or put on a spider man suit and climb on up there :joy:

do you have a better picture of how high the steeple is located on the church?

Its not high…i can reach from ground.

My worries were with it being metal, aluminum, or whatever it may be. I dont normally touch anything not vinyl concrete or brick.

I would figure out what it is first. I’m sure the church has a maintenance man
Or the guy or gal who knows everything about the building can help you out

I must be lucky, but around here the painted aluminum cleans up nicely with my typical HW mix. If you miss a spot you’ll see clean drip marks but I just hit that again and it whitens up.

Looks like it might be fiberglass, as it appears to have been made in a mold. Hence the lip around the cross and down the side. My churches’ steeple is fiberglass.

Pass…I had one last year, I showed up and hopped on the roof and wiped my finger on it down to bare aluminum. Called and cancelled. Last steeple I’ll think about doing.

I’d pass if it is aluminum or a copper roof under the cross.
