Church Building Cleaning. Help, Please!

Yes listen to @Racer. The x-jet won’t give you a strong enough mix anyway. Look up x-jet modification. I’m adding an 18in lance to mine this week. It reduces the amount of mist and give better distance from what I’ve heard. Plus I’ll be able to use my 2 way nozzle on it.

I was thinking of walking into the woods as far as I could walk ,and then stop and throw it as far as I could throw it

It’s good for some things, it’s just that it’s easier for me to unroll 12v hose than lug the bucket around. I’ve used mine once in past 5 years.

Not the video I was searching for but close enough.

My thoughts exacty!

I’ve been using my xjet to post treat concrete. I find that I use less sh that way. I’m batch mixing so my batch is usually left over roof mix, ie too strong. But secretly the real reason is I’d rather lug that bucket around then flush out my 12v. But I have been flushing it… finally, after the koolaid test :joy:

You realize some use a J-rod on their x-jet right? I am guessing you are talking about downstreaming vs x-jetting. :+1:

I have been reading about this

Historic, have you used those products? What can you tell us about them? Thank you!

I have. I mainly stick to the Limestone Prewash and Afterwash. They remove light to heavy carbon deposits and are gentle on limestone surfaces. What I see in the pictures is a poor drainage system that allows water to run down the corners of the building, deeply embedding atmospheric/carbon (pollutant) stains.

IF the stains are problematic, I would incorporate the Restorer and repeat the application. You want to use both the Prewash and Afterwash regardless. The Afterwash is crucial to neutralizing the chemical that inevitably gets embedded in the stone. Not doing so would compromise the stone’s longevity.

With limestone, GPM is paramount over PSI. With a higher PSI, you run the risk of pushing stains further into the stone, instead of letting the chemicals break down and draw out the contaminants.

And, as a Prosoco fanboy, your distributor will have free samples to test before you purchase. They will carry most products in both 1 gal and 5 gal; the samples in pints.
