Chlorine resistant uniforms

Hello all I’m new here and recently started doing pressure cleaning on a professional level. I read the uniform thread but I was unable to find anything the was recommended locally. My main question is which fabric are the more resistant from getting bleached out? Are there any particular blends that everyone is using? Any information would be helpful and I’m sorry mods if I post this in the wrong location.
Thank you
Mike

I wear 100% polyester shirts at the recommendation of an industry leader and I’ve had no issues.

Thank you John. I found some shorts that were 60/40 poly/cotton that I was think about trying. Maybe I’ll just stick to 100% poly. Any idea who sells shorts for cheap? Budget is pretty tight since I’m just starting off.

dickie khaki for me , the look very professional imo and hold up to sh pretty good not perfect but better then anything else I have tried

Poly is the way to go. You can find them at outdoors shops. Dry fit and wicking is great.

Cdubbs thank you for mentioning the dry fit! That was another product that I was curious about but wasn’t sure how it would hold up. I’ll likely start out with silk screened long sleeved white shirts. By the time those get holes in them from the SH I’ll step it up to something else. Pants for now were my biggest issue. Thanks you a lot guys! By the way I love the site… A lot of helpful stuff on here for noobies

With the dickies shorts what length inseam you get? I’m looking for something knee or just below the knee.

Bad thing about all poly shirts is the smell. They wear good and keep you cool but they develop a stench when you sweat. You could also be confused as a serpent fossil fuel salesman

Lol. I just ordered the 60/40 dickies pants and I think I’ll get some white cotton pocket shirts. Since I live in FL and we are going into summer I don’t want to wear something that’s going to hold odors.

You need a special detergent from a sporting goods store formulated for moisture management material.

Otherwise you carry the persistent and pervasive odor of a wet dog after a couple of months.

I would like to find a pair of bleach resistant pants that look a little bit more casual and loose fitting than the Dickies 874 pants I have been using. Maybe some carpenter pants or something.

Lol

I just ordered these. Their polyester hiking pants. You can buy them without the zipper to convert the. To shorts also. They resist bleach very well.
