I am not good at plumbing so I’m hoping I can get a plumbing for dummies walk thru on how to plumb my Chem tank. I’ve been using my 12v pump to fill my two 5 gallon containers out of my 35 gallon tank but having to run water through the pump after each fill up is a pain.
The bottom fitting is a 3/4" and I currently have a plug in it.
I’m hoping to be able to get a 6ft or so line coming off it with a ball valve so I can fill my containers that way. I don’t know what to get in order to do this and my research has turned up no specific answers.
I have no idea where to start or where to get the material so any help is appreciated!
I have mine set up similar. I have a three way ball valve to where I can pull chems from my reserve tank to my mix tank then turn the valve and rinse while I’m filling up with water. I also have a banjo fitting on my downstream tank so I can fill it up without making a mess. Call Shaun at powerwash store in Nashville and he can walk you through what you need like valves fittings and drop sticks.
Can you post a pic?
The one on top of the tank pulls from the reserve tank and the water tank. The valve next to the gen 3 is used to prime the pump as well as filling up the mix tank behind it and the downstream tank next to it.
I sent them a message explaining what I’m trying to accomplish. Thank you for the info. I’m running 2 4gpm machines and won’t be upgrading to 8gpm with buffer until next season or I’d be going the 3 way route. Currently have a 35 gallon bleach tank and a 65 gallon mix tank with a couple 5 gallon containers for making hw mix.
Once I get everything ordered I’ll post pics to help any other newer guys on how to get a Chem tank set up with proper plumbing.
Thanks again.
