Capping injector question

Just plugging the hole where the injector barb was provided on my cat pump. Problem is im having trouble finding a brass plug in that thread. Its an 8-32” UNF. Was just gonna take the outlet off and tap it to a conmon thread and plug it. After unthreading the brass body i noticed these pieces. The orifice and a small threaded piece inside the body. Should i remove these as well if im goin to be using a stand alone injector?? Thanks

That’s part of your injector. Show me a pic where that screws in to the pump.

Common sense tells me to remove everythingn since it will all be contained withing the new injector

Unless inlet port thread is what i want a plug for which would be a M20 x 1.0…

Reason I need to see pic of where that assembly screwed into. You’re going to do away with that whole assemby

Right out of the discharge im not home right now to send pic at moment but where it threads in is a typical NPT thread

Yep, just get rid of all that and get a female QDC or male plug, whichever one you need to screw in the output of the pump. I’ll try to remember to take a pic of mine for you, but will be late tomorrow.

Where the body threads in is the M20 thread. So the weird 8-32 is the plug i need. So really just need to know what all needs removed from the body…assuming everything.

Yea im just gonna get rid of the whole thing makes more sense haha thanks

Should i remove check valve seat and stuff???

Part 438 and 439 on that diagram

Throw it away, just coobect the ubloader and use the chem injector on your reel
