Canvas awning chem?

I have a customer that has striped canvas awnings. Every three years they have me clean them and this time it was BAD.

I used the usual strong mix of SH with a pump up and brush, but it took four applications and still didn’t come out as clean as I’d like. The lichens are dead but won’t physically come off and mold spots are still visible.

Is there a chemical you guys suggest for better results?

For reference this is an after pic from 2022, this year was much worse.

White vinegar and baking soda paste. Apply to stains gently with a soft scrub brush and let sit 15 to 30 mins then rinse.

You can try oxygen cleaner too. Something like oxiclean and put on for 15-30.

Letting that sucker hang out in direct sunlight might help too.

I have heard Star Brite Mold & Mildew Stain Remover (fabric-safe version) Can work as well.

After that I’m out of ideas but hopefully this gets you where you’re going!
