Can you fill me in on turbo nozzles?

I have a 3100 psi, 2.5 gpm machine. Can someone tell me why I would want to use one of these and what it’s advantages are versus normal spray tips?

The turbo nozzle is good for rough surfaces like concrete. A regular nozzle always shoots the water in the same direction, so it is tough to get in the nooks and crannies. For stripping paint too. A regular nozzle just pushes the paint down. You need a little change of angle to rip it off.

I use mine for curbs mostly

We use them for detailing edges, the face of stairs and corners and such. Great tool for the tool box.

Okay, thanks. I worked with a guy for a day last week who used one for a driveway and it didn’t seem to go spectacularly faster than astandard nozzle, but it did seem to keep him from having to change them out. I’d say they’re worth the $36 or so.

I also wondered on the turbo nozzles and came across Giant brand for about 100 bucks, does anyone use these enough to spend that amount and is a good one or junk

If i tell everything i know then everyone will be me. The world isn’t ready for that. I started off buying about 5 or 6 kinds till I found what worked for me. I need a wide pattern.Others might not. Buy and experiment

Lol will do

One thing I always wondered about turbo nozzles is why nobody uses them on wood. You clearly can’t use much pressure on wood, but for doing stuff with lots of angles (like deck railings) the extra motion of a turbo seems like it would only help. You’d just need a super-big orifice.

Need I say more?
