Hey, I am kinda new to the community so I may be missing something. I am on my iPhone trying to search the forums using the search bar at the top of the site but it only searches for equipment I can buy, not posts or threads. I don’t see any other way to search the forums… Sorry if this has been mentioned previously, but I can’t figure out how to search lol

Welcome, Someone got a hold of the controls and screwed the pooch trying to impress or something. We finally got the blue button thingy fixed but the search function got taken away. @Jordie or someone can probably link you to the old search function. Welcome aboard.

Here is a reply from a moderator (Alex), it may help others to know this:

When searching, don’t hit search, just scroll
Type into the search box and scroll down past the products, you’ll see old posts”
Counterintuitive to me, but it works.
On my iphone, I just turn the phone to landscape view (sideways for the slow learners) and the lil search icon magically appears next to the menu button that’s by your lil profile pic.
Haha it is good to know I am not the only one in this boat. For the longest I thought it was me.
Same for Samsung, turning the phone into landscape (the sideways one) mode makes the search bar appear right next to the profile button
I just reached out to Chris directly. Hopefully we hear something back soon. He’s a very busy guy.
So on an iPhone search will show first relevant products related to your search then any forum posts that might be related. It always shows the store first. Just scroll past the products and you will see the forum results.
Example - first screenshot, as Chris said, the search will bring up the store, second screenshot is when you scroll down and it will pull up forum threads, third screenshot is from a desktop just to illustrate that you have to scroll down - hope this helps!
Ah, ok. So the trick is to scroll before hitting enter, and tap on the “more results” button on the bottom.
