Can someone help me find this hose connector?

You might’ve wrecked that new jet. Why did you decide to drill it out in the first place?

Clean the old carb really, really well. I’m copy and pasting a quote that explains what’s happening:

In the center of the carburetor, near the bottom of the carburetor bowl is the main jet. The main jet supplies fuel to the engine when it is at full throttle. When the main jet becomes blocked, the engine will stall at full throttle. Once stalled, the governor will close the throttle. At this point the carburetor’s idle circuit will begin to supply fuel and the engine will fire once again and the throttle will return to full. This cycle repeats over and over, causing the engine to die and surge."

I would check the items @marinegrunt listed first before switching the carb. You didn’t mention why you changed the carb

I had a surging idle under no-load conditions on my GX690 (pump in bypass), removed carb and found a tiny piece of debris in one of the pilot jets. Fixed the issue as the pilot jets supply fuel at no-load idle

I drilled it out because I watched a video. Cleaned up the old one. It’s much better on the surging part. Id say 90/100. The swivel connector work perfect so thank you Marinegrunt. The next steps would be to changing the oil for the motor and the pump. Anyone have a good video on how to maintain my pump?

Thanks for all the help everyone!
