I bought a pump sprayer and am going to clean my own roof because I want the experience and it’s a very small house with not much roof so it shouldn’t be too hard at all.
With that said, I’m planning to use 10% SH in a 50/50 mix with water (others on here recommended that strength mix for a roof).
My question is can a too strong mix potentially damage standard roof shingles? Like let’s say you used straight 10% SH (no water). Would the shingles turn white or lighter, ie get bleached?
I definitely will use 50/50 mix/water combo so I don’t think I have anything to worry about, I’m really just curious more than anything.
