Can I soft wash this?

Hi. So I’ve done my share of softwashing. Vinyl, stucco mostly. Will I be able to softwash this building? Or do I need to rent a lift?

You might depending on your equipment (does your water out of your gun reach those heights?). Personally for $130 (they deliver and pick-up), I would rend a lift for 1 day. It looks like a 1 day job, if not then at least rent for 1 day do all the higher stuff and then finish on proceeding days. I have a minor league baseball stadium with over 30,000 sq ft of limestone covered in mold and algae with peaks reaching 30+ feet. I am going to rent a lift for 1 week and start with all the areas that have the highest peaks and then work on the lower stuff. Just easier that way then to get all set-up and then sh*t, wont reach or wind is blowing, whatever and then go get a lift.
Your other option is a pump-up that you spray from the roof down on the top stuff. Clean the bottom two “rows” then get on the roof, spray the top, rush down and rinse form the ground. Maybe that would work…

Lift. You don’t want to spray sh at 3% 4 stories up in a populated area like that even if just a soft washed worked.

Great points with the wind blowing, etc. I figured a lift was my best bet.

Are you bidding on windows as well ? I can see hazing, soil or mineral runs on some . Looks like a great candidate for WFP cleaning after your soft wash, lift for sure your going to need 1k psi to effectively rinse that exposed aggregate to remove semi embedded material.

Yes. Windows as well, Water fed pole heaven. I put the bid today. Hope I get it, looks like a fun job. Thanks for the input guys.

On something like that do you check if the windows are hydrophobic or hydrophilic.

I can’t stand one hydrophobic slider glass door …I couldn’t imagine all of those windows if there hydrophobic
