Thought I would share a neat product that I have found useful and very cost effective compared to bulkhead fittings. They have sizes in this pack that fit 1/4 id hose perfectly. They are also waterproof. I drilled a hole in my mix tank and dropped a weighted and filtered end down in. Works flawlessly.

Per @Innocentbystander, I just drilled a hole 1/64th smaller than my tubing OD and squeezed it through.
