Hi Guys,
Anyone have tips for good place to buy bulk 12.5 SH in California?
Anywhere in California? Wouldn’t you prefer somewhere nearby you?
I was thinking of a place that would ship if I wasn’t close enough. All i find on the web are places seemingly far away with higher shipping rates. I’m wondering if the higher regulation here makes it harder to find suppliers.
There are a couple guys from Cali here on the forum. If you let us know where you’re near you might be able to find a local supplier. I think @Seandz and @Chesebro are in California.
I’m in Sonora, an hour east of Modesto, 2 hours south of Sacramento. Thanks
Search words bulk chlorine California bring up a lot specifically one thomasnet.com heck Clorox has a plant in California
This company is here in Sacramento. I haven’t talked to them personally yet, but I plan on calling them myself this week as I’m getting ready to start booking jobs.
Great, thanks
I meant when you search" bulk chlorine California" choose thomasnet.com and it had suppliers of northern Cali
Appreciate it. I was doing that and finding shipping fees of $350! The places I’ve seen mentioned in previous threads seem to apply to south and east.
Thanks. Will do
I just talked to Sierra Chemical Company and wanted to provide an update here.
For 12.5% SH they offer:
55 gallon drums or 330 gallon tanks
$2.92/Gallon
$50 Deposit for the drums
$6 Cleaning fee for each order
$30 delivery for local deliveries(Not sure how far they will deliver but I spoke with Brandi and she said they have 3 delivery trucks running) or you can pick up from their location.
I hope this helps
Close to 15% at my local pool spply, choose to $6gal. Check there at local pool supply
Yeah we have a bunch of Leslie’s Pool Supply stores around here. I went in there about a month ago. They have 1 gallon bottles of SH available but from my understanding, they don’t sell it in bulk. I’m sure you could buy or order a bunch of 1 gallon bottles, but 55g drums seem a lot simpler and more cost efficient.
That’s great. Appreciate the update!
Your correct, i didnt calculate correctly.
