Guys I’m using the 275 gallon tanks they used for food supply. I have a 2" male fitting on the bottom. I know some people use these tanks as well. Does anyone have a detailed part list of what I need to run to my pump. Fittings. Filter etc.etc.
Thanks

I wish I could help you out but ours is being setup for us, They are setting up bypass and valves so we can us hose or buffer tank for water supply.
I’m building mine now and I came up with some stuff but I know there’s a better way then a bunch of weird fittings

Break it down into smaller pieces and do what sounds logical.
First you will need a line coming from your garden hose reel with a flow controller on the end of it to stop the flow of water if the tank gets full. You may also want to insert a valve to allow you the option of using the garden hose directly or the water tank.
Second, a line to the pressure washer, I would add valve in there so if you need to detach the pressure washer or change out a line you can shut the flow of water off.
Third, this is where is gets cloudy for me, there is a return line so if the pressure washer builds pressure it can release the water back into your reserve tank. Maybe one of the more experienced people can provide clarification on how to set this up.

My standard answer for everyone trying to build a buffer tank is to call Bob at Pressure Tek and do what he tells ya. When I had questions about building my first one I called to inquire about just one piece and he laid it all out for me.
