Wasn’t aware my choice of sealer was that bad. I’m glad it was brought to my attention. Guess I won’t be using it in the future. Thanks for the heads up
It’s a homeowners product. If it lasts a year will be a miracle. Good thing for you though, you can then charge him a lot more to strip it and re-do than you did the first time.

Better not get involved with colors and brands.
I have an account with my Sherwin Williams and use H&C products never had an issue with any of the sealers or paint I buy through them.
I do these all the time with a surface cleaner. It makes a sludge that I shovel away into bags. Let it dry for half hour and spread all purpose sand and a broom. Customers love it light up and clap smiling; which is really one of the best parts of the job.
