Brick job from hell

I’ve tried everything. DS, xjet, straight SH out of a pump sprayer. And this is as good as it gets.

Turbo nozzle

I tried that too. Forgot to list it. This is just as good as it will get. Unless someone knows anything that I’m overlooking?

Is it possible that it’s a discoloration in the brick?

Most specialty cleaners for stone, concrete, and brick/masonry are acidic. Have you tried anything on that end of the ph spectrum?

It is in the brick, from not being cleaned in so long. But it’s not by design. Other areas of the house look good.

It looks like the remnants of the lichen you removed. Mist with 3-5% SH and leave it. should eventually die off completely.

I mentioned an acid wash but they seem to be satisfied as is. I’m not but you can’t win them all.

You’re just a pressure washer, not a miracle worker.

If turbo fails, acid

Bingo. You clean stuff. You don’t paint, resurface, restore to new, etc.

I wanted to update this thread for anyone who might find it in the future. Before I left the job I sprayed straight 12.5% on these lichen stains. I came back two days later and they are now gone. Thanks for all of the advice. Good day

Wow that looks great. I’m glad it worked out. Now go to the quarter and have some redfish and listen to some good music to celebrate.

Lol the redfish is in the freezer but it’s about time to get some more out of the water. Maybe Sunday.

NOLA is our favorite place to go. We’re not partygoers but we love the food and atmosphere of the quarter. We try to get down there 3 to 4 times per year

It’s a decent place to live as long as you know your way around. It’s not hard to end up in the wrong part of the city. I don’t do bars and clubs anymore so bourbon street isn’t any fun. Two nights ago I went to a roof top bar called the Vue. Recently divorced so I’m playing the dating game and rediscovering my city lol. There is another one I’ve went to called the Monkey Board. They both have a nice chill atmosphere with great views. I’m looking forward to exploring more. It’s been a while. Check out those places if you’d like. I’m also taking suggestion from you or anyone else as to some good spots?

We like the French market cafe. It’s nothing special. Covered patio to eat under but they always have live jazz. The gator tail is awesome.
