Ok, so I’ve run across an opportunity to clean up brick homes as well as their driveways.There is heavy red clay in the area and this is all new construction. Multiple neighborhoods going up with a few standard styles of homes that all need the red clay stains and mortar smears taken care of.
From what ive been reading about that kind of work, I should be able to apply a 1:10 acid mix via pump sprayer, soft wash pump system, downstreaming, or xjet (after a prewetting brick). High pressure rinse after short dwell period to finish up.
Does anybody have any experience with this that could give me any tips or things to consider?
Also, there are 250+ potential jobs with this opportunity. Each home has 20k-25k bricks and a standard 1250sqft driveway. Theyre paying $25/1000bricks and I want to offer them $22/1000bricks assuming 25k bricks total and do all driveways for $200. So $750 for new construction cleanup of brick+driveway. Is this too much? too little?
