It’s been a while since you’ve seen me — my last post was 10 months ago.
See what I did there.
Meanwhile I’ve been through a lot, never mind, missed this place and you guys, glad I’m back here reading, learning and preparing, now @Dtejada, before replacing the belts, looks like you need to align them first, belts look like they are 1/2 in away from one another on the driving pulley, where as they almost touch each other on the pump pulley, I’m not sure, but looks like it’s not right, and I’m not sure why.
Where’s the newbie link @Max1.
You’ll find everything you need to know and then some after reaching. Thats an entry level machine for professional PW. Soon after reaching you’ll know why. Don’t get me wrong, it will do the job, just not as fast as most ppl on here. I have one similar myself, it was my first. I still use it along with 2 bigger machines . But you’ll be upgrading after you get up and running with more cash flow. Good luck man
And @Dtejada,if you want more help on here, introduced yourself and tell everyone where your from and what you’d like to get into . Example, residential, commercial, fleet etc. There are really good ppl on here with noggins full of knowledge, but we’re a pretty tight knit community.
Thank you @Hotshot, now if I may say welcome to you too, and wow, you’ve almost taken “the Reader” title from me I see you’ve been enjoying and reading a lot as well.
See you around man.
It’s a great forum, I’ve been blessed to find it, and hopefully it will be a blessing for me and my family and biz when I start as well, hopefully next season.
Hahaha, almost, I’ve been around but couldn’t be active much here, was dealing with a lot of things, they just kept coming, than lately project ended where I was working, but I was not worried about it as I needed time and wanted to be around my father, he was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, and I was taking care of him as his only son, and spending as much time as I could with him, until he passed away on June this year.
Side by side, you should be able to roll it over clockwise with a pipe wrench on The sheave and a screw driver to catch that middle v groove, the belts don’t look bad, check for dry rot,and at least get the numbers off them and write them down in your log and get new ones for back up on your rig.
