Bought a hot water pressure washer lots of questions

So I bought this thing, for better or for worse…. https://www.bcesystems.com/store/p837/DC5035HG.html#/

Now I’m trying to select a surface cleaner…I found a 22” 2 nozzle that seems reasonable. Does it seem reasonable? https://pressurewashersusa.com/product/22-inch-4000-psi-8-0-gpm-whirl-a-way-surface-cleaner/
From everything I’ve read my 3500 psi 5 gpm machine won’t push a 24” and won’t work well w more than 2 nozzles.

On another note last month I went to the Phil ackland kitchen exhaust school out in Texas and got certified. I learned a lot and it’s part of the reason I chose the machine I bought.

I also have some buffer tank questions. What is the minimum tank size and outlet and do I need a utility pump feeding my belt drive machine or is gravity Feed enough. I appreciate any advice sent my way

Also curious where in the system I should put the inline filter…guessing right before the surface cleaner?

If you are using a buffer tank then gravity feed will work with a belt driven pump. I use gravity feed on a direct drive pump but the output of the tank is higher than input of the pump. Inline filter should be on the feed hose of your rig. You really need to think about your SC size I would step down to 15 to 20 inch size with that pump. If up your pump toward the 8 gal(3500 psi) or more than think about larger SC. Or you could Just buy the larger one resize the nozzles to match your pump and move a little slower.

Probably going to go w the 24” little big guy. Guy who does a lot of concrete I did a class w says he doesn’t have anything issues w the 2 nozzle. I purposely bought the 5 gpm so I can handle both concrete and kitchen work. Can’t go any bigger for kitchens. Guy I did vent school with has a landau 3500 psi 5 gpm and said he doesn’t have any issues w the 24 inch. Everyone else in class was running similar setups. I’m worried I’ll be cleaning more mildew than they see and have a harder time. Was looking at 22 inch whirlaway 2 nozzle…seemed like a compromise between size and performance

With that small of a pump, stick with a 16 in surface cleaner

That’s going to be a great machine for smaller commercial jobs like restaurants and drive-thrus.

You don’t need any extra pump to pull water, make sure you use a 1"intake. I’d get a decent size buffer tank if you’re going to be doing commercial. Sometimes hard to find outside water spigots.

Your machine will push a 20" but you’ll need to move slow. I’d go with the smaller 16" like Innocent rec.and you’ll be able to move pretty quick. Two nozzle bar is fine. We were cleaning concrete with 2 nozzles for years just fine. My mini mondo is basically 2 16" put together and it cleans like crazy. Anyone who says you need a 4 nozzle bar doesn’t know what they’re doing.
