Booking/scheduling/invoicing sites?

How did you ever learn how to do strikethrough text? I see now that it’s double tildes (~). Been trying to figure that out for ages, lol

I use the html tag < S > I’m not even sure Matt was replying to you and </ S > but don’t leave spaces in the brackets.

I’ve had a good day. And I didn’t even see your comment. I read it and legitimately had the same reaction I would’ve had if I had read “Sit down guy. It’s good enough for you at any price.” Then I read it in context and my feelings were confirmed.

Lol I guess I’m an over reactor. If I read it later and feel like I over reacted I’m not above apologizing.

Old school. You’ve been on forums awhile, huh? Lol. You can also use two tildes (these guys: ~) in the place of the html.

Other cool shortcuts on this platform:

  • single * in place of italics tag
  • double ** for bold
  • hyphen with a space after to create a bullet item
  • line of underscores _ to create a separation line:

Did you delete your post on the HCP Facebook group? I tried to reply and it was not there.

I see what you did there.

I guess I am old school. Started using MS DOS in 1991 and my first computer was a Tandy which had the upgrade to dual floppy drives!

Shameless plug Alex, I thought you were better than that. I need to start using my link more and get some HCP swag for signing people up! When I first got on board I sent a few people to them and got a free month for every new person.

Dude. No way. That was my parents’ first computer. Probably around ‘92 or ‘93. It was a hand-me-down from my grandmother. She was a writer for a couple different newspapers, so she had a home computer before most people we knew. Very cool woman.

I did. It got someone else to look at it from HCP and that’s all I really wanted out of it.

In the shower I realized I’d have to apologize there too.

Did you see the guy that said the forum is a tough crowd? All I could say was: you have no idea.

Yes, I was a manager at Radio Shack in the early 90’s and I had a paper route in the early mornings. I kept all my records for my paper route on the computer. It took me twice as long to use the computer instead of a paper ledger but it was way more fun, lol.

My reply that didn’t get posted was “Tough as in leaving a bar on Bourbon Street into a dark alley at midnight.” I was torn between that and a pirate ship reference, lol

I always prefer the pirate references.

Ok - “being a moderator on this forum is like being the first mate on a ship full of drunken pirates”

That’s incredibly accurate.

I never read any of the posts that deal with marketing, advertising, invoicing etc until this one. I am missing all kinds of trivial minutia lol. Drunken pirates is spot on

Always wondered about that… :smirk:

I thought it was quite clever… But I think a lot of things I do are clever. No one else does, but I do…

I think you’re clever but if I told you it would go straight to your head
