Boats and Broncos

Daddy time. Kids love it! :+1:

Looks just like racers boat. Spent about 3 days working on it when i had time. Had to let the shop do the carburetor because we both got slammed with calls. Maybe he will finally have time to take it out this year lol. Im liking that Yamaha motor you got on there.

I don’t have that boat back yet. I called the guy to check in on her.

The little jon boat had a mercury on it and I couldn’t get it running. Needs coils. So I pulled the boat over to my father-in-laws and put an evenrude on it. Started the 5th pull and hadn’t been ran in 5-6 years lol

Racers hadn’t been started in that long ethier. I replaced the coils spark plugs siphoning pump thingy and bot filters on the end. He had a guy keeping it in a garage for hin because he didnt have time to use it and the guy left gas in it for that long. Its a mercury 9.9( alot of lakes/ponds around here have a limit of 10hp) but alot of guys run 15hp and put a 10hp or under cover over it lol. I was going to buy it from him and he could still use it when ever he wanted but money got tight and i got busy. Might just get me and my wife a kayak less trouble and maintenance.

She looks just like her Dad!

I’m sorry. Fat fingers. I meant Senko.

Do you or @Racer ever go out on Jocassee? (I’d like to catch some spotted bass over there, but I don’t use instruments and I’m a terrible fisherman, LOL)

When the Dr. pulled her out he looked at her, looked at me and laughed. “you cloned yourself” he said…

Not sure about rick but i love lake jocassse the hard part is finding them the easy part is catching them when they are running shad you can throw about anything that shines in and they will bite lol. Thats a big lake a 9.9 motor isnt ideal to stripper fish unless you know some spots. Im planning on going to santee cooper sometime this year to catch some monster catfish you close?

I use to go all the time. A great lake for everything. There’s some decent trout fishing there too.

hahah that’s great. I pretty much cried out “she looks like her daddy” when my daughter came out. A few months later she looks just like her mom…She lucked out. Lol

We were going to Santee in June, but decided to go down to Buck Hall instead…Hoping to get some reds or sea trout down there.

Also, we’re not close to Santee…about 3 hours. But, we do day or overnight trips down there several times a year. It’s actually one of our favorite winter day trips. Nothing like leaving Asheville with temps in the 20s knowing that you’ll be seeing alligators basking in the sun in 3 hours!

Yeah, I hear the trout fishing is good there…can’t wait to get back there and try to get some now that the weather is getting better.

Having my boat delivered today. Finally. IBS always says buy multiple so you have a back up. I had 6 motors put on it incase one fails.
