I was out his Saturday morning washing. Luckily it was mostly flat work. It was 27 degrees out first thing so I went and got the oil changed in the truck before heading over to the client’s house. It was 36 degrees when I started there and about 40 degrees when I wrapped up. I have a 6-ft roll of heat tape that I picked up at Lowe’s wrapped around my pump, chemical injector and some hose. I just have to plug and unplug everyday as I drive the truck to and from my daily job.

I use oil pan heaters under my pumps. I park plug them in on a timer and throw a towel over wash pump and unloader. It takes me about 30 seconds to winterize every night.

What do your temps get down too? @sgb
