Bleach Neutralizer

Anybody use anything to neutralize bleach? I was considering using it if pre-treating concrete in sensitive areas or running it through hoses/injector after downstreaming. Thoughts?

What about after a 4% roof wash?

What about it. If you do it correctly there won’t be any bleach any where except on the roof. If you do it even more correctly you won’t wash a roof anyway. Either way, it’s still a gimmick. Be interesting to see what the next cycle will be. Ride on surface cleaners, hydrogen peroxide, reclaim, softwash. Just an endless cycle as new faces appear and don’t know any better

I have some. My roof pump is in the back of my truck and if something leaks I rinse with water but I also now dump a bucket of water with SH neutralizer in it.

I started keeping a spray bottle of final wash (similar to agent halt) in the back of the truck also as sh leaks more often than I’d like. Hoping to keep the truck from rusting away. I also recently did raptor liner on both the bed and the skid and it’s holding up quite well! Even against 12.5% sh spills out of the bulk tank.

Water is the best. I ran agent halt through my booster pump two times and both times needed to rebuild the pump a week or so later. I stick to water through the pump now and have always pre wet bushes and wet them after houses and roofs and never killed anything.

Sodium Thiosulfate crystal form.
Various valid reasons to have some on hand.
Totally kills SH instantly. Good for flushing out system / equipment, rinsing hands etc…
It is also is a type of salt like SH, and will leave salt behind like SH does. Use Gypsum powder (landscape supplies) to treat for salt problems if needed.
Pool stores sell de-chlorinating supplies also.
Look around for best price.
