Bleach/Chlorine Color Additive

Basically this stuff.

Excellent point. And, the dye disappearing in a few minutes is certainly a good thing.

That’s right, pulling soap-colour, rinsing-no colour.

Is it made for roofs? Where do you get it at?

It’s made to be used with soft wash setups with proportioners. The color won’t show if you’re downstreaming or batch mixing.

@anon37135677 looks like powerwash.com just came out with stuff that looks just like apple wash. I like Apple wash but stuff is really pricey compared to snotmenade. Almost double the price just to see a wall turn pink for 20 seconds.

i dont know about you fellas but I would 50/50 mix that apple wash with another surfactant and make it go a bit further if your after the colour. Check the SDS sheets of course.

Interesting. Doesn’t say anything about only working with soft wash systems.

Works with a proportioner or a dual barb injector for downstreaming. They posted a video the other day of using the apple blossom using a dual barb. There are many guys that use that same set up with Apple wash as well. It’s a surfactant with a marker dye. You can still batch mix or DS like normal and still get the surfactant and cover scent, just no marker dye.

@seanktm just to touch on this further there is an alternative that can be used with a proportioner much like what apple wash does, I guess you would mix the dye with your surfactant and will be transparent again once the bleach takes the colour out of it in a few minutes. Very cost affective alternative if all your after is the marking dye. Pressure Washing -Spray marker like apple wash being down streamed with 3 way ball valve to wash - YouTube

If it’s not too much to ask please do a sample on a piece of wood and maybe some concrete to see if it will have any staining properties with SH mixed with it.

Sorry, have not had a chance to test it on concrete or wood yet. I’ll definitely keep you guys posted when I do get a chance to test it on my own place.
