Hey guys, I did a search with mixed information. I got a call from a Chick-Fil-A manager to come bid his restaurant and possibly a couple others. I really don’t know how to bid this, especially not having hot water. If it’s going to be only about $300 worth I’ll just suggest he go with a commercial company.
I will post further info once I know what he’s after.
I don’t know how chick fil a is run, but most other fast food joints are franchises. A lot of the people who own them own several. Don’t think of it as “$” one time gig, think of it as recurring revenue. So, if he wants this store cleaned it isn’t “$” that you sell. What you are selling is that it costs “$” and I do it every month/2month etc.
Now if he/she/chicken patty owns 3 stores in an area you are going to cover, then it is an insurance payment made every other month or whatever. These gigs are hard to come by in my area.
Your doing concrete walks, drives, dumpster pads, and your a window guy so he/she/chicken patty is getting the whole enchilada in one go. price accordingly. I don’t do windows.
Easier than any other fast food joint, you have all day on Sundays to get it done! 
Here’s one of the restaurants, the other was built last year and not showing up on Google earth yet.
This one measures 4800 sq/ft for the concrete drive which he said cold water is fine. He also said they have industrial degreasers I can use for the dumpster pad if needed. He’d like bi-weekly if possible.
If this was my normal residential price
just the driveway would be at $1200…so I know that won’t fly

I do about 20 KFC’s quarterly. I do the sidewalks, dumpster pads, and drive-throughs, along side the curbs along the building. The pricing can be tough because it does have a low ticket overall, but I have found the consistency to be nice along side other opportunites that arise from this. I have gotten other jobs from this client such as junk removal, full building washes, and other services which help raise the margin.
I have my price at $425 a building, which on my first go around, I though I completely shot myself in the foot. Now that I have done them for a solid amount of time, they stay relatively clean besides some degreasing by the front door and where they drag the trash. I can complete 3 a night with 2 guys or 2 stores by myself per night. All work is done at night and it keeps me busy for 2 weeks.
I attached an image of an average KFC I do. It is a bit of concrete to clean, but I do have hot water machines so we go pretty fast. I unfortunately cannot give you any details based on cold water performance. Now it does look as if you have much more concrete to clean so i would not be as low as $425, but the price will matter based on how many stores/how often you clean them/how full your schedule is making better money.
If your hitting sidewalks, curbs, dumperpads, and drive-throughs biweekly, I would be in the 500-600 range depending on how many i can do a night, or what daily income amount your business runs at. Typically these jobs run on the thinner side.

I went and had a look today. In addition to the 4800 sq/ft of driveway they were expecting the sidewalks and dumpster pad as well which by rough estimate was around 8000 sq/ft. I talked with a guy that used to do that store and they were only getting $600 for all that. Couple it with bi-monthly contract and I passed n this one.
That’s unreal….id pass too
