Best way to advertise

I like Facebook advertising but not paid Facebook ads. I have more luck joining the community fb groups of my area like swap shops, buy sell trade groups, local moms, homes for sale, ect. I make a personal post and just copy the same post into about 40 different Facebook pages about 3 times a week sometimes more. I get way more feedback that way and it’s free. Targeting is better too in my opinion

I’ve got a few jobs this week by just knocking on a couple of neighbouring homes advising I’m going to make a little bit of noise washing a house as a courtesy thing and that I won’t be long, got 3 jobs that way, I might start being the most courteous man in my city.

Doubtful about that…:smirk:

Word of mouth and shake a hand is my most popular way to advertise. And a good CB radio to chat on with customers, We wash trucks so that probably won’t work for you.

Copy that…over. Lol

See what can happen when you don’t run around acting like a quoit.

How do you word your posts in those type of groups,i thought they didnt allow advertisements on those types of groups

@Powerjet Some pages don’t. Some do. Just have to read the rules when you join. Some have certain days that they allow people to promote and advertise.

Usually I post pictures of before and afters of my services. So like a house wash, concrete clean, and wood clean. The caption might be something like “4th of July is coming quick! Is your home clean and ready for friends and family? Contact us and check out our summer specials”. Really whatever grabs people’s attention. I’ll post my website link and business number with it

Yea,i liked the air force, but eventually they put you behind a desk when you increase in rank

I work in the air traffic control tower Lol, plus I don’t want to become an NCO. Doesn’t benefit me!

But with that extra 2-800 a month, I have 10 troops under me, I get called in on weekends and in the middle of the night, held responsible for my troops actions, plus I have to deal with the leadership? No thanks  I’ll do my job, go home, repeat lol. Military makes you do so much extra stuff

Nailed it in one. I was chuckling as I wrote that earlier post. I’ve been an E7 for 13 years of my 20 year career :sob: :sob: :sob:

Plus the military approved my second job to pressure wash so, I can supplement that E7 pay with pressure washing lol

I got shot at as much as a Lance Corporal as I did as a NCO so the pay raise was nice…lol

It’s going to be hard to not become an NCO in 6 years. Although, there are things you can do to prevent it…lol
