Best method for unclogging surface cleaner nozzles?

Just like the title says. Its too small for a paper clip. Anyone have any suggestions. I’m soaking them in vinegar right now. Hopefully that solves it. Thank you in advance for anyone who can help.

Put in a spare.

Well thanks captain obvious. Unfortunately I don’t have any. I’ve already got some on the way and am totally aware that I should probably have them on hand. Just wondering if any body had a solution for the ones I have. I tend to learn things the hard way.

Try being more respectful to our members who offer you advice even if it’s not what you wanted to hear. @Racer is one of the more knowledge members here.

Are you sure that’s the problem. You can try safety pin, oring pick, sewing needle, air compressor.

If all else fails, can always wand it.

I take em off and blow brake cleaner back through them opposite the spray

Nine times out of ten mine usually clog with bits of rust. Like @Racer said use a pick, or needle they usually work well. Either of those would obviously work.

Well gee @Clean_Blue great advice. Ill take it into consideration. Judging from his first response I figured there was no need to sugarcoat things. I’m pretty sure he can take it. But thanks for mediating.

@Racer I didn’t hurt your feelings did I? I always figured to be a “tough as nails” kinda guy.

Anyways. Thanks for the help guys. The brake cleaner did it for me. Soaking in vinegar didn’t do much except make them look brand new.

No problem. I was being a smart ass but hope you learned something out of the experience. Don’t need spares for everything, but critical pieces that may affect your ability to do a job and earn money kind of important.

These torch tip cleaners are also handy here.

I know, older thread…but I had a clogged nozzle and my wife suggested a staple. Worked great in a pinch.
