Beer cooler cleaning

Lots of wires, lots of rubber/plastic lots of mold
Enclosed space with 1 door. Can’t move the kegs or unhook anything but may be able to cover some wires up. If I use bleach I know I’ll have to run some fans so that the fumes don’t eat up the wires while I’m working… Are there any other chemicals out there that could clean this up safer than bleach? What safety measures would you take if u did decide to use bleach? This is a recurring customer for patio cleaning so I have to think of some type of safe solution even if it’s not a perfect solution.

Only a couple photos cuz I don’t want to give away the business, they are trying their best to resolve the mess and do better lol. But it’s a crap-ton of kegs and rubber hoses in a walk-in just for beer, no other food.

Maybe a mild bleach with a pump sprayer and a scrub brush and a neutralizer in another pump sprayer and just go section by section with a fan and make a day of it?

I would walk unless you could get what you want like 2k. They have a mess that they neglected. You clean it and mess up something with their automated beer system and now its a mess you created. Spray bottles and rags. That’s what I would do.

Yeah, I’d walk. Where is all the water going to go? Too much electrical and equipment that could be affected by bleach. Also what if some of that bleach gets into the system and people are consuming it. Like the other guy said, spray bottle and rags would be a safer bet than power washing

Ya… the restaurant manager first asked my boss to borrow a pressure washer or trade work for food lol

I would walk if it were my company but mine is all residential and this is my commercial part time W2 job working for another guy. He’s paying my full-day rate so… I’m going to give it a go Monday. Wish me luck! :person_facepalming:

That’s a good idea! I actually have a little karcher steam cleaner too. Not commercial grade but something safer than bleach that’s for sure!
